My Interest in Quantum Physics

As I mentioned in the previous section, my early interest in the concepts of what we call "time" really engendered my current interest in quantum physics. Oddly enough, I am absolutely abysmal in terms of ordinary mathematics skills, so I have had to approach quantum physics on a conceptual basis, understanding the principles of quantum-level behavior that have been identified, and applying my own logic as well as the observations of others to explore this field. A few of my favorite published works in this area include: "The Cosmic Code" by Heinz Pagels, "Beyond the Quantum" by Michael Talbot, "Art & Physics" by Leonard Shlain, and "Star Wave" by Fred Alan Wolf. A number of recent works have exposed and explored the relationships between quantum physics and the operations of the human mind and consciousness. This is an especially interesting field of study, I think. Among my favorite books in this area are: "The Mind's I" by Hofstadter and Dennett, "Infinite Mind", by Valerie Hunt, and "Infinite Minds" by John Leslie.

I have made some observations and drawn some conclusions in this area myself, and many of them are mentioned in the article I put together.
